This resolve was articulated during the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on strengthening political ties, which took place between Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yussuf Maitama Tuggar, and Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bruno Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla.
Ambassador Tuggar acknowledged that the strong relations between Nigeria and Cuba have historical roots dating back to Nigeria’s independence struggle against British colonial rule.
