In the Macao residents’ competition, Hoi Long and Wang Kun claimed the women’s and men’s titles, respectively, both echoes of their previous year’s victories. Wang set a new Macao record, completing the race in 31 minutes and 27 seconds, while Hoi finished with a time of 38 minutes and 42 seconds. Additionally, Chao Kin I and Law Kwan Wai secured the second and third positions in the Macao women’s category, while Wong Chin Wa and Ip Weng Tou placed second and third in the men’s category.
Participants in the 10-kilometre race are rewarded with substantial cash prizes, with the champions receiving US$10,000, while second and third places earn US$5,000 and US$2,500 respectively. This year, the event commenced at Sai Van Lake Square and concluded at the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
