In the uniquely contested 300m race, Rusheen McDonald clinched victory with a time of 32.39 seconds. Simultaneously, Ackelia Smith opened her outdoor season in the long jump with a distance of 6.74m, while her competitor Tissana Hanson recorded a wind-aided jump of 6.63m. Briana Williams finished strong in the women’s 100m, clocking a wind-aided 11.07 seconds for second place, closely followed by Natasha Morrison and Serena Cole. Additionally, national record holder Danniel Thomas-Dodd placed second in the women’s shot put, throwing 18.80m, while American Maggie Ewen took home the win with 19.25m.
