Kobo Resources Inc. has announced the expansion of its exploration operations in Côte d’Ivoire through new earn-in agreements and license applications. This strategic move enhances the company’s presence in a highly promising gold region in West Africa, aiming to uncover and advance gold discoveries in the area.

Kobo has established two earn-in agreements with NESDAVE MINING SARL, providing the company with 166.78 square kilometers of exploration ground. Additionally, Kobo’s new partnership with KUNIBOA MINING Co. includes applications for two exploration licenses, totaling 181.59 square kilometers, further solidifying its regional footprint.

The long-term growth strategy focuses on enhancing Kobo’s exploration portfolio. Edward Gosselin, the CEO of Kobo, emphasized the importance of expanding their exploration footprint in Côte d’Ivoire, asserting that the new agreements create additional pathways for exploration success. This initiative is aligned with their ongoing work at sites such as Kossou and Kotobi.

Nesdave’s earn-in agreements involve two gold exploration licenses, each with a term of four years. The first exploration license spans 93.28 square kilometers in the Agnibilékrou Department, while the second covers 73.5 square kilometers in southeastern Côte d’Ivoire. Both licenses allow Kobo to obtain a 90% interest through investments totaling approximately C$1.25 million.

Furthermore, the Kuniboa applications for exploration licenses are positioned strategically near the company’s Kotobi license. The licenses cover over 180 square kilometers and will be submitted for approval to the Inter-Ministerial Commission, with a decision expected by 2025.

Kobo Resources is focused on growth within one of West Africa’s most resource-rich regions, characterized by substantial gold deposits. The firm has made notable strides in its Kossou Gold Project, with extensive drilling efforts confirming significant mineralization at several high-priority zones. Kobo is also advancing exploration at its Kotobi Permit and aims to continue expanding its land position in Côte d’Ivoire. With an experienced leadership team, the company offers investors promising gold prospects, trading under the symbol “KRI” on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Kobo Resources Inc. is actively expanding its exploration portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire through strategic agreements and new license applications aimed at discovering new gold opportunities. The company’s growth strategy includes strong partnerships, significant investments in exploration licenses, and a focus on regional development, particularly in its Kossou and Kotobi projects. This commitment to exploration in a promising area underscores Kobo’s position as a key player in West African gold mining.
