Caitlyn Jenner Backs Trump’s Deportation Policy Amid Controversy

Caitlyn Jenner supports Trump’s decision to deport gang members to El Salvador, viewing it as a necessary law and order measure. Amid legal challenges to the deportations, Jenner maintains her political stance by also advocating against transwomen participating in women’s sports, aligning herself with Trump’s policies.

Caitlyn Jenner, the 75-year-old former Olympian, has expressed her opinions regarding President Trump’s recent decision to deport over 200 alleged Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador. Jenner, a steadfast supporter of Trump’s second term, previously remarked that “hope is back in America” following Trump’s victory. On a recent occasion, President Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to expedite these deportations.

In a statement on X, Jenner emphasized her approval of Trump’s strategy, asserting that “this is what America voted for and deserves – law and order.” She stated that the deportations targeted violent offenders who, in her view, should never have been in the United States. Among those deported were members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and the notorious MS-13 gang.

Trump has described the situation as a crisis, claiming it to be “a time of war” stemming from what he perceives as an invasion facilitated by the previous administration. The U.S. media reported that legal challenges arose when D.C. District Judge James Boasberg issued an order to halt deportations under the 1798 act for further examination of the legal arguments.

Despite the legal constraints suggested, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele confirmed via social media that the deportees had arrived. Responding to the controversy, Bukele remarked, “Oopsie… Too late,” indicating his support for the swift transfer of these individuals to El Salvador’s mega-prison, the Terrorism Confinement Center, which has garnered criticism from human rights organizations for its harsh treatment of inmates.

Jenner, an outspoken advocate for Trump, has also joined him in supporting initiatives against transwomen in women’s sports, which has further fortified her political stance. After Trump signed an executive order barring transwomen from competing, Jenner proclaimed victory in the fight for women’s sports and expressed her commitment to lobbying for international support on this issue.

Caitlyn Jenner remains a strong supporter of President Trump’s policies, particularly regarding deportations of alleged gang members to El Salvador and restrictions on transwomen in sports. Her endorsement reflects her belief in law and order as an expected outcome of Trump’s administration. The legal challenges surrounding deportations and the human rights implications of El Salvador’s mega-prison highlight the complexities of these policies and their reception within the broader political landscape.
