The Tobago Chamber of Industry & Commerce has urged Prime Minister Stuart Young to establish a productive partnership with the Tobago House of Assembly (THA). Following his swearing-in on March 17, Young’s commitment to working collaboratively with the THA is deemed essential for advancing Tobago’s interests. Young succeeded Dr. Keith Rowley, who stepped down after a substantial political career spanning 45 years.

Curtis Williams, president of the Tobago Chamber, emphasized the importance of integrity and national unity in Young’s governance. He stated that the relationship with the THA must encompass the unique requirements of Tobago to ensure the island’s development aligns with that of Trinidad.
