On March 18, Jaishankar met with Ukraine Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, where discussions centered on Ukraine’s peace negotiations, and he highlighted the inauguration of the new Consulate General of Ukraine in Mumbai as a step towards advancing bilateral ties.
Jaishankar also had fruitful discussions with Thailand’s Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, emphasizing areas of collaboration in digital technology, connectivity, and food security, along with their collaboration under the BIMSTEC framework. He reported a productive exchange on these critical topics via his social media account.
Furthermore, Jaishankar’s interactions extended to Peruvian Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo, with discussions focusing on enhancing political, economic, and infrastructural cooperation. An agreement regarding information exchange between India’s National Archives and Peru’s General Archives was also established during their meeting. This amplifies India-Peru relations in multilateral engagements and knowledge sharing.
The Raisina Dialogue, running from March 17 to 19, 2025, is organized by the Observer Research Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and addresses pressing global geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges, fostering international dialogue and understanding.
