During a recent press briefing at the Chinese embassy in Amman, China’s Ambassador to Jordan, Chen Chuandong, emphasized the robust partnership and deep economic ties between China and Jordan. He highlighted the growing cooperation in various sectors as both countries pursue modernization and development, sharing complementary economies and a mutual vision for progress.
Ambassador Chen illustrated China’s commitment to joint economic development, stability, and regional peace. He encouraged Jordanian businesses to take advantage of significant trade events, such as the China International Import Expo and the Canton Fair, to promote key Jordanian exports, particularly in agriculture, given China’s increasing interest in sustainable farming and food security.

Furthermore, the ambassador voiced China’s support for a two-state solution regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict, condemning Israeli actions in the West Bank as violations of international law.
