The BYD Seagull has been officially launched in Morocco, presenting two model options with distinct driving ranges of 230 kilometers and 300 kilometers, both powered by BYD blade batteries. Under DC fast charging conditions, the vehicles can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Since its entry into the Moroccan market in July 2023, BYD has successfully introduced six passenger vehicle models: the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and Seagull.

At a recent press conference, Adil Bennami, the General Manager of BYD’s Moroccan partner Auto Nejma, remarked on the vehicle’s purpose, stating that it is “specifically designed for urban scenarios, perfectly integrates cutting-edge technology with practical design…” The Seagull is touted as a significant contender in Morocco’s new energy market, exhibiting a robust body structure, up to six safety airbags, and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen. Furthermore, the smart connectivity system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing for intelligent voice control and enhancing the driving experience.
