Government Model also showed their dominance in the Youth Boys’ category with 58 points, ahead of Beje High School’s 35 points and Vision High with 28 points.

In the Junior (U-20) Team event, Delta State provided a stellar display, accumulating a total of 162 points. This success was largely attributed to Bosa David Kosisochukwu and Success Okeleke, who dominated the throws. Bosa earned two gold medals in the Shot Put and Javelin events, alongside a bronze in the Discus. They left HIT with 94 points and Global Power with 79 points in their wake.

The Senior Team category was a closely contested affair between Bayelsa and Edo, with Team Bayelsa emerging victorious at 114 points, while Edo finished second with 87 points. Team MTN followed, finishing third with a score of 48 points. With the first leg of the MTN CHAMPS concluding on an exhilarating note, the next leg is scheduled to take place in Lagos from April 9th to 12th.
