The new imprint is spearheaded by the collective Sqnc, known for organizing notable local events featuring artists such as Rhadoo and Raresh since its inception in 2018. Recently, Sqnc has collaborated with three other Moroccan collectives to form ECHO7000, a new overarching organization.
The first release from Sequence Records is a split EP titled “Cyber Alien Communication,” featuring collaborations from Tunisian artist HearThuG and label founder Cybercafé, also known as Adam Dirk’heim. This duo began their collaboration in 2022, and their eagerly anticipated EP is scheduled for release on March 28, 2025, with distribution managed by KMA60.
