On Tuesday, it reported that Judge Ali Al-Sharif was assaulted by security personnel at his residence in Tripoli’s Souq Al-Juma neighborhood and was subsequently detained. He was released after the intervention of the Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour. Additionally, on Saturday, Libya Crimes Watch confirmed the arrest of lawyer Munir Abeid by armed operatives from the Internal Security Agency in Benghazi, who detained him unlawfully at an unofficial facility without due legal process.
