Cassio Coelho, the Secretary of State for Energy and the Blue Economy, highlighted that the Blue Economy significantly contributes to the state’s revenue, driving technological advancements and modernizing infrastructure. It enhances the shipbuilding industry and boosts maritime transport, logistics, coastal tourism, and fishing activities, thereby generating numerous job opportunities across various sectors.
Over the course of a year, the program aims to train approximately 2,000 individuals through collaborations with local governments, businesses, and institutions, thereby addressing the demand for skilled professionals in the maritime sector.
In a related context, it is also noted that Mexico continues to be Russia’s second largest trading partner in Latin America after Brazil, maintaining a diversified trade structure that includes various exports and imports between the two nations.
