Pakistan to Propose UN Resolution Against India and Afghanistan for Terrorism Support

Pakistan plans to introduce a resolution at the United Nations against India and Afghanistan for their alleged support of terrorism. Munir Akram, the country’s UN representative, intends to expose India’s activities while urging Afghanistan to act against perpetrators of recent terrorist incidents, such as the Jaffar Express attack in Balochistan.

Pakistan has moved to table a resolution against India and Afghanistan in the United Nations, citing their alleged support for terrorism. Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, emphasized the intent to expose India’s purported role in exporting terrorism from Afghan territory. He remarked, “Our next step is to expose India’s support for terrorism at the UN.”

Akram expressed determination to increase efforts against India on international platforms amid challenges posed by India’s allies when sanctions are proposed. Recently, Pakistan urged the Afghan government to take necessary measures against individuals linked to the Jaffar Express attack in Balochistan, which was described as a terrorist plot originating from external forces.

Shafqat Ali Khan, spokesperson for the Foreign Office, noted that the Taliban-led government in Afghanistan must collaborate with Pakistan to combat terrorism effectively. The attack on the Jaffar Express, which occurred near Sibi in Balochistan, resulted in over 400 passengers being taken hostage by a group of terrorists but was resolved following swift action by Pakistani forces, who eliminated all 33 terrorists involved and ensured the safe recovery of the passengers.

In conclusion, Pakistan is taking a firm stance against India and Afghanistan by proposing a resolution at the UN, aimed at highlighting their alleged support for terrorism. The country is also urging effective cooperation from Afghanistan in counter-terrorism efforts, particularly regarding recent violent incidents. The swift response of Pakistani forces in securing the Jaffar Express incident underlines the nation’s commitment to combating terrorism.
