Decline in Transaction Values Through Click Payment System in Jordan

The “Click” payment system in Jordan recorded 20.22 million transactions totaling 2.61 billion dinars from January to February. However, February saw a 4.3% drop in transaction value compared to January. The user base grew to 1.74 million, predominantly Jordanian males, with money transfers comprising 85.3% of total transactions.

From January to February of this year, the “Click” payment system recorded a total of 20.22 million transactions, amounting to 2.61 billion Jordanian dinars, as reported by the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPAC). This figure demonstrates the growing adoption of electronic payment methods in Jordan.

In summary, while the “Click” system demonstrated growth in user numbers, it experienced a decline in transaction values and volumes in February. Despite these challenges, the statistics reflect ongoing advancements in Jordan’s electronic payment sector, encouraging a shift towards digital financial transactions.
