Plans include conducting the ICRC’s annual briefing involving all pertinent ministries and collaborating with local religious communities to explore the connection between IHL and Islamic values.
The partnership in distributing humanitarian aid remains a focus, with Ochilet commending Indonesia’s support for aid endeavors in Palestine, Afghanistan, and Myanmar through the ICRC in 2024. Indonesia is exploring further cooperation with the ICRC regarding humanitarian assistance to Palestine in 2025.
