In the men’s 10-kilometer race, Yasser El Chachaoui from Morocco triumphed with a remarkable time of 27 minutes and 21 seconds, alongside compatriots Mohamed Aït Mamas and Ismail El Kharchi, who together completed a podium sweep.
In the women’s section of the 10-kilometer event, Rokaya Moukaim also excelled, finishing with a commendable time of 34 minutes and 37 seconds. The remarkable show of talent from Moroccan athletes continued in the 5-kilometer races, where Amine Souida claimed victory for the men with a time of 14 minutes and 45 seconds, outpacing Emirati competitor Hamid Al Moualla, who finished in 15 minutes and 41 seconds.
In the women’s 5k race, Polish athlete Emilia Mangilinane clinched first place with a time of 22 minutes and 11 seconds, while Emirati Hessa Al Jassmi followed, completing the course in 23 minutes and 48 seconds. The senior and residents category for the 5 km saw French participants shine—Jean-Claude Haramburi won the men’s division in 16 minutes and 58 seconds, with Latifa Saroukh taking the women’s race in 25 minutes and 33 seconds.
