According to the latest findings from the London-based real estate firm Knight Frank in its “The Wealth Report 2025”, Turkey was ranked 25th globally for its number of dollar millionaires. The report revealed that there are 6,138 individuals in Turkey whose wealth exceeds 10 million dollars, positioning the country just behind Sweden, which is ranked 24th, and ahead of the Philippines and New Zealand, ranked 26th and 27th, respectively.
The report highlighted that the United States has the highest number of dollar millionaires, totaling 905,413 individuals, while China follows with 471,634. In total, the global count of individuals possessing over 10 million dollars in wealth has risen by 41,000 in the past year, bringing the figure to 2.3 million. Projections indicate that this number may surpass 2.5 million by 2028, and notably, individuals with wealth exceeding 100 million dollars have now surpassed the 100,000 mark.
The report by Knight Frank indicates Turkey’s notable position in the global wealth landscape, being 25th in dollar millionaire counts. The significant increase in wealthy individuals worldwide and the trends regarding ultra-high-net-worth individuals highlight an evolving economic scenario, with expectations of further growth in affluent populations in the coming years.
