Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh highlighted the essential role of Islamic scholars in promoting unity. He urged scholars to amplify reason and compassion, stating, “Our obligation…is to fortify relationships, establish mutual trust, and strengthen the essential ties of brotherhood.” He asserted that challenges in the Muslim world should motivate collective action, urging rejection of extremism and factionalism in favor of truth and guided understanding.
