Separately, following his suspension during the Maharashtra budget session due to comments regarding Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi labeled the action as “arbitrary” and voiced concerns about threats to himself and his family. He expressed his grievances on X, stating, “My suspension is arbitrary on the part of the government, there is a threat to my life and that of my family.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed gratitude towards the people of Telangana for their overwhelming support for the BJP in the MLC elections. He praised party workers for their dedicated efforts, noting that the support received was a testament to their hard work, stating, “I thank the people of Telangana for blessing @BJP4Telangana with such phenomenal support in the MLC elections.”
