SOCAR has extended three scholarship opportunities for Somali students at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). A delegation headed by Dahir Shire Mohamed, Somalia’s Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, recently visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). The delegation was warmly received by notable officials including Ziba Mustafayeva, Vice President of SOCAR, Elmar Gasimov, the Rector of BHOS, and Sabina Karimova, an advisor to the Vice President of SOCAR. Staff from BHOS were also in attendance during the meeting, as reported by Azernews.
During this gathering, Ziba Mustafayeva highlighted the advancements and successes of BHOS, particularly in fostering international relationships and increasing the enrollment of foreign students.
