He also remarked, “Through international agreements, we aim to facilitate the rehabilitation and reintegration of Iranian convicts.”
According to Mr. Jalalian, Iran has established transfer protocols with 29 countries, 23 of which are presently operational. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 300 prisoners have been repatriated, with intentions to increase these figures in the following year.
