The Climate Mobility Fellowship for 2025-2026 invites young leaders passionate about climate mobility to apply. The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) is pleased to announce the Climate Mobility Fellowship (CMF) for the 2025-2026 period. This year-long program is aimed at young leaders who possess a strong commitment to climate mobility. Fellows will have the opportunity to enhance their skills, connect with key stakeholders, and develop innovative solutions to address climate challenges in their communities.
This fellowship is part of the Climate Mobility Academy (CMA) and targets youth from Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Participants will engage in comprehensive training that combines academic learning with practical project work, in addition to attending international climate mobility forums. Each of the selected fellows will receive a stipend to facilitate their involvement in the program.
Twelve fellows will be selected, which includes four representatives from Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Over the course of the fellowship, these individuals will cultivate expertise in climate mobility governance and policy, underscoring their participation in vital global policy discussions.
The fellowship is scheduled from June 2025 to May 2026 and will be conducted both in-person and virtually. To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 30, have proficiency in English, and need to be residents or nationals of relevant Latin American, Caribbean, African, or Pacific Island nations.
