PM Shehbaz Engages Leaders of Kuwait, UAE, and Sri Lanka to Strengthen Ties

He met UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan amid a warm reception, attended by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir. While in Dubai for the World Governments Summit, PM Shehbaz met with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake for their inaugural official discussions. They reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing relations, focusing on trade, sports, and high-level exchanges to explore new collaborative opportunities.

The Prime Minister also conferred with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in Dubai. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress of Pakistan-Kuwait relations and deliberated on expanding economic cooperation while discussing pressing matters in the Middle East and South Asia, notably advocating for increased humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians.
