He formally requested support from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to assist the Maldives in digitising its parliamentary archives. Speaker Birla assured him of India’s full assistance in this endeavour, highlighting ongoing collaborative efforts between the two nations.
Abdulla and Birla reminisced about their previous discussions at the IPU Assembly held in Geneva last October.
